Rum & Biscuits followers know that chocolate, coffee, sugar, and rum have a long and intertwined history. Over 600 years, the four commodities rose to take over the world, effectively fueling one another.
Well today, you can rise to take over the world. And the four commodities can fuel you.
We’re using nothing but the best for this hot mixed drink: Nespresso Fortissio Lungo, Ghiradelli’s unsweetened cocoa, and our PDX standards – Below Deck Coffee Rum and Below Deck Silver Rum. The secret ingredient: butter! Before you get scur’d, remember that hot buttered rum is one of the world’s earliest rum cocktails, peaking in popularity with the explosion of the triangle trade and rum consumption in the American colonies, when they were trying to add that shit to just about anything.
And if we’re keeping score, I know there are some bulletproof coffee fans among you. This is just sweeter, and will get you drunk.
Ohhh yeahhh, just look at all the history in that glass. So delicious, and well-researched.
Alright, let’s get brewing now.
